A few friends have approached me for proofreading service so here’s what you need to know. 

 I struggled to find a proof-reader when I did my PhD. I found a few services that offer proofreading locally and overseas, for a cheaper rate but I was never satisfied. 

The two types of services I found either offered writing services which can be unethical or basic proofreading that corrects basic grammar and misspelling.  

this was the case until I met Robert Bob.  Robert obviously pointed out grammatical mistakes and misspelt words but more importantly he went one step further and commented on the following: 

• Sentences that are not smoothly written
• Claims lacking proper citations
• Citations without complete attributes
• Broken links within the text
• Statements that contradict each other
